Well into the second year of our partnership with USAble Life (USAL), work is underway to bring to market new products and services to improve the medical, dental and financial well-being of our customers and members. We partnered with USAL to unlock their vast capabilities and dedicated resources to complement our own and enhance our customers' experiences. USAL’s unique integration model has been shown to improve members’ outcomes and lower health care costs.

Our suite of life and disability products for small groups with effective dates beginning July 1, 2023—including Group Term Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Dependent Life, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability—will no longer be quoted and renewed in the eGMA. Beginning March 28, 2023, when requesting July 1 (or later) new sales and renewals, producers using the eGMA will click a link to explore USAL products and be redirected to the USAL website. USAL sales executives will support the quoting and renewing process. Proposal documents will bear the USAL logo.

Note that sales and renewals of life and disability products for midsize (51-100) and large (101+) groups with effective dates of July 1, 2023, and after will also be available only directly from USAL.

New and renewing small group life and disability products with effective dates through June 1, 2023, can still be quoted and renewed in the eGMA. The new group deadline for June 1 effective dates is Monday, May 15, 2023; the renewing group deadline is the day prior to effective date.
