You'll get an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) after you visit a health care provider. Don’t worry—it’s not a bill. It’s a statement from Asuris that details the services you received, what your health plan covers and what you may owe your provider. EOBs can help you feel confident that any bills you receive are accurate. Plus, they’re a good way to track your health care expenses.
Go paperless
Switch to paperless statements and get your claims and cost info as soon as it’s available. Just sign in to your asuris.com account online or in the Asuris app to change your account preferences. Don’t have an account? Create one.
There are three main sections of your EOB. We’ll run through each one and explain the EOB terminology. To follow along with your own EOB, open a new tab in your browser and sign in to view your EOBs online. You can also easily pull up your EOBs using the Asuris app.
For guidance with a dental EOB, sign in to your Asuris account and choose Coverage, then Your benefits and the Dental tab.
