Resources for employer groups to get a fast start on 2025 preventive care

The new year is right around the corner, and with it comes a new supply of preventive care benefits and wellness rewards when your new plan year begins. Most Asuris plans include comprehensive preventive care benefits—such as annual wellness exams, immunizations, age-appropriate screenings, and services for pregnant members and children—with no out-of-pocket cost to members when received from in-network providers. In addition, most fully insured and many self-funded groups’ plans also include generous Asuris Motivate® wellness incentive rewards for employees.

Yet, while preventive care and wellness programs improve health and lower costs for employees and employers, many people fail to take advantage of all the services and features available to them at no out-of-pocket cost. These resources explain the importance of preventive care and the no-cost preventive care and wellness resources included with your plan.

You and your employees get more when they create an account

To help your employees learn more about their health plan benefits, urge them to create an account on asuris.com or download the Asuris app.

Creating an account unlocks valuable features that provide a personalized health plan experience. When signed in to their account, employees can:

  • Find care: This enables employees to find and schedule appointments with in-network doctors and specialists locally—and nationwide when they’re away from home.
  • Estimate costs: Employees can save money by comparing costs for tests, treatments and common procedures from multiple providers. They can also get personalized real-time, out-of-pocket cost estimates based on their deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.
  • Telehealth: Embedded in fully insured plans of 1-100 and available as a buy-up for 101+ and self-funded groups, telehealth gives employees convenient, cost-effective access to high-quality care from licensed, board-certified doctors for nonurgent medical and behavioral health needs.
  • Nurse advice: Employees rely on Advice24 for guidance and support for everyday health concerns. It's a convenient and quick way to get support from a registered nurse for nonemergency health issues and questions that might otherwise lead to unnecessary doctor and ER visits. Advice24 is embedded in most fully insured group plans and available as a buy-up to ASO groups.
  • Wellness: Asuris Motivate provides personalized tools and resources designed to guide each employee to improved health and earn wellness rewards. Small (1-50) groups on metallic plans earn a premium reduction of 3% for each enrolled employee who completes a Health Assessment and biometric screening.   • Medication cost savings: Employees can research the efficacy and costs of prescription and over-the-counter drugs, and compare brand-names vs. generics before buying.
